🎂 Turning 65? Let’s make Medicare simple.

When you’re approaching 65, Medicare can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to be.

I’ll break everything down based on your situation: the prescriptions you take, the doctors you see, and how your current employer coverage fits in.

If you’re still working and have credible group coverage, you may be able to delay Part B — I’ll help you confirm that.

Together, we’ll look at whether it makes more sense to stay on your employer plan, enroll in Medicare, or use a combination of both. I’ll also explain how Medicare might save you money and when to consider taking Social Security to avoid penalties or withholding.

You’ll get a clear, easy-to-understand explanation of your rights and options — and when the time comes to enroll, I’ll be here as your resource every step of the way.

❓ Questions About Your Medicare Benefits?

You’re not alone — and I’m here to help.

Already on Medicare or just getting started? It’s common to feel unsure about what your plan actually covers — and what it doesn’t. I’ll help you sort through your benefits so you can get the most out of your coverage.

We’ll review things like:

  • 🛍 Flex Cards – Some plans include a spending card for over-the-counter items, groceries, or even utilities. I’ll help you understand if you qualify and how to use it.

  • 🏋️ SilverSneakers & Gym Memberships – Many Medicare Advantage plans include fitness programs like SilverSneakers. I’ll show you what’s included and how to sign up.

  • 😁 Dental, Vision & Hearing (DVH) – These benefits can vary by plan. I’ll make sure you know what services are covered and where to go.

  • 🤝 Dual Eligible (Medicare + Medicaid) – If you qualify for both programs, you may be eligible for a Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) with extra benefits. I’ll help check your eligibility and explain your options.

  • ❤️ Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNP) – If you have certain health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or COPD, a C-SNP might give you more focused support. I’ll guide you through what’s available based on your health needs.

Life happens — and sometimes, so do changes in your health insurance needs. If you’ve missed Open Enrollment for ACA Marketplace coverage, you may still qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) due to certain life events or emergencies.

Common Qualifying Life Events:

  • Loss of health coverage (job-based, Medicaid, or other)

  • Marriage or divorce

  • Birth or adoption of a child

  • Change in residence (moving to a new ZIP code)

  • Gaining eligible immigration status

See if you qualify and get covered now!

Open Enrollment: November 1 – December 15

If you're under 65 and don’t have job-based insurance, you may qualify for an affordable Marketplace plan. I’ll help you compare options, check for financial assistance, and choose a plan that fits your health needs and budget.

Important dates:

  • November 1: Open Enrollment begins

  • December 15: Last day to enroll for coverage starting January 1

Even outside of Open Enrollment, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. Reach out and I’ll help you find out!

🏥 Need Health Insurance?

🧓 What About Long-Term Care?

Long-term care insurance helps cover the cost of care you may need later in life — like help at home, in an assisted living facility, or a nursing home. It’s not something Medicare covers fully, and many families are caught off guard when the need arises.

If you're thinking ahead about how to protect your savings and ease the burden on your loved ones, let’s have the conversation. I’ll explain your options, including hybrid policies, so you can make a smart decision while you’re still healthy and eligible.
